We spent a weekend in Krakow, 2 1/2 hours by train south of Warsaw. Totally different vibe than Warsaw...and a lot more touristy. Krakow has an amazing main square - it's huge and beautiful and seems there's always lots going on. In fact, the square was so full of vendors, I could not really get any good photos, so you'll have to take my word for it. There were many street musicians, like this jaunty fellow on his accordian.

And lots of horse-drawn carriages. We took a ride around town.

And food. There was a food festival happening in one of the squares....just look at this grill of meaty goodness!

This is Eros Bendato - a very large head in the main town square. I did the typical tourist thing and climbed inside for a photo.

It's very lively here at night - cafes and music, and people strolling. Quite romantic.
